Most of the time when I listen to music, I want to hear a groove.
Sometimes though, all I want to hear is the tones. It doesn’t matter how much is going on (usually the less the better), I’m just happy listening to the sounds.
It’s like looking at a painting just for the pleasure of seeing the colors. Seeing how the colors interact and the variety in the tones. It could be a picture of nothing at all, it’s all about the sensation.
